I agree with everyone else. I open nothing from anyone I don't know . But I do like anwering the phone to someone trying to sell me something, I enjoy winding them up.

Its called British Summertime over here, I don't mind the change, it gives us an extra hour of day light. I think the correct time here is called Greenwich Mean Time, that's our winter time.

There are more now than ever before. Some are genuine and some are not, I feel sorry for the genuine homeless, and I often give them a couple of pound, even though I don't have much to spare myself. There are a few around here who are not actually  homeless, and some I often wonder about, especially when they have a healthy looking dog sitting beside them.

It must be 20 years since. I take supplement, cod liver oil, Garlic, plenty of vitiman C food, and I have the flu  jab. And I always carry wet wipes and hand gel.

Bob, although I don't know you personally, I think you are honest and straight talking, we say outspoken over here ( not sure if you use that word so much in America) ,it's meant in a nice way. I'm outspoken, and I don't have a problem with anyone who is , in fact I prefer that. If this person new you well, they should know when you are joking or not. I would contact them again, and offer my apologies once more, and then say to them, look old friend what I said was meant as a joke , now get off your high horse and forget it.

I make sure they know, and then walk away. If it is something that really annoys me, I don't bother with them anymore.
