No life is too precious.

Yes I'm watching it now ,live on my tablet. I'm at work in the shop where I work part time. There are no customers around at the moment, so  it's on my tablet. There are no politicians invited just super stars and pop stars, and ordinary members of the public. I'm a royalist so I shall watch it until a customer comes in, then I shall just leave it on in the back ground, if they don't like it too bad.

We didn't have phones when I was a child. I was the last one left at home at 18, and I paid to have the phone connected, and I paid the bills, that was 1965.

Not many of you may remember, but I'm thinking back to the 1950's when the English presenter was a very posh spoken actress and presenter called Katie Boyle, when she had to converse with anyone from Europe she couldn't speak their language, so she used to speak in broken English with a French accent, that was hilarious.   

Apparently we have been playing it over here since 1892, I didn't know that. We called it rounders when I went to school, smaller bat, smaller ball, and no protection.

I think it may be as cb said, they may not have thought you would want to be surronded by noisy kids, I know I wouldn't.  Don't take it too personal, I do that sometimes, and then discover I've made a mistake. Keep your August celebrations open to them and everyone,  let them see your the grown up. 

Hot lemon and honey drink, and yes stop the smoking.

If they are 100 per cent sure, then  I would chop his bits off.

Not really scared of dying, scared of what will lead up to it.

I have been thinking about it this week, because a friend of ours died on the 8th April, it's his funeral tomorrow, so I have been thinking of him a lot. He was two years older than me, he had not been well for a while, but it's still a shock.
