i like Lyra for a girl & Louis for a boy.
well, here it really didnt get past 43 degrees, real blowy lots of hard driving rain, big fat wet snow, so it didnt settle. its almost reached freezing, still wet and blowing hard. not good, but must not complain, we have had so little rain over the last 6 months or so, all the local rivers are drying up. the "powers that be" are saying we are going to have a water shortage come summer! something to really look - forward to! so stayed in read some, napped some, then made a really yummy sausage and mushroom pie for dinner and as it was sunday, followed it with mint choc chip ice-cream. yum yum yum. at least you were only there till 4, but i guess that still sucks!
turmeric is used extensively in cooking in India, Arabia and the far east. cooking with spices was not just used as flavour enhancers, but also for health. in the west this was done also, but as times pass and we become more modern, we forget the ways of the past. turmeric is very good for stomach complaints, and i use it with out any problem. i used it a lot, for my mother as she had IBS, with no problem at all. pherhaps you are taking it in tablet form, in which case, maybe you are taking too much, the dosages are really a guide line, i would suggest if this is the case, cut your dose by 50% &./or take it every other day. what you are experiencing could be just coincdence, stop taking it for a while and see. it could just be that time of life. i*m afraid! in which case you may think about trying soya, beans, spreads, milk, apparently part of what they contain, (besides vitamins, fibre etc..) is a mineral which mimics the female hormones, which helps us when we reach that certain age!! another good thing is mint tea, no milk though it can be sweetened, its also good for a lot of other things, but i think i"ve gone on long enough!! hope this helps.
Love is a gift. Read this in a book - cant remeber the author, but the book is called "Enemy Mine", and it is Sc--Fi. It was also made into a film, not very good thou. Basically love is a gift, - think of the gifts you have given, out of duty, or love, even reluctantly, then think of the gifts you have recieved, the ones you were expecting, the lovely ones that come as a complete suprise, the rather alarming ones! & not just the gift wrapped ones - a kind word, a helping hand, both giving and recieving. Not forgetting the unpleasant ones too. I"ve thought about this authours description of love often, and still to this day find it profound.
APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE: 2 unemployed irish men walking down the road, they came upon a sign outside a building - tree fellers wanted - 1 one turned to the other & said "just our luck, when we are looking for work, we should have brought Paddy with us".
i think a programme about demolition!! every week the winning contestant would be allowed to demolish a building - sledge hammers, wrecking ball, and then .....BOOOOM! you get to blow up whats left!!! woooeeee i trhink it would be really great.
why ask after you"ve already made use of the word?
