I did not give out Halloween candy this year.  I went out and about and looked at all the costumes kids and grow ups were wearing. I wore a scarf with pumpkins on it and a Halloween shirt, bought something at Taco Bell and Wendy's.  Back home now and discussing terror attack with better half and watching Nightly News.  We went to a school Halloween party Friday Night. I dressed as a nurse, better half dress as a doctor.

Both my sisters make and made quilts (one died).  I like the heavy ones.  I like to feel weight, especially when its cold.  Most are made with cotton, and very extremely beautiful. One sister has several 1st place awards. The other sister who died got an award 6 months before she died at the Sacramento County Fair.  she was in a wheel chair at the time dying from cancer, but she was happy because that was her first ribbon.  She even stood up and danced a little bit.  I think that was her last earthly event, besides Kaiser and Stanford Hospitals.  She even had a little crush on her handsome Stanford doctor.  She told me if I wasn't married and didn't have cancer, I would marry him.  That's how my sister was.  She got everything she wanted in life.  Her son said after she died, my mother did it her way. And she did.

yes to all of the above. people do use to self medicate. statistics say over 200 million people use alcohol. 19 million have a problem with it.  anything can become a disease when it's abused and over used. if people did not get high on alcohol, they would find something else.  humans like to explore, and exploring altered states is what alcohol and other substances are all about. a lot of people alter their states with food, maybe exercise or some addictive behavior. we would always be able to find something to use,  because we and our human brains are always seeking and searching. the trick is to not get too addicted, crazy or disease prone, because of what we decide to eat, drink or do.

never had one. health doctor recommended keep my immunity up by eating healthy and certain vitamins, plus I tend to be allergic to pharmacy meds. rarely get colds or flu.

I believe woman want to give their skin a rest some times.  Maybe a little bit about being busy. I personally can not see women ever giving of makeup. You can produce  so many fantastic looks with makeup.  When women get dressed up, they have on plenty of eye makeup, etc.

I believe in almost everything. however, if people are going to try something, they have to have some faith that it will work for them.
