A feather comforter! is the BEST! You could be cozy in a snowdrift! I love mine!

Thermal cotton for me, Scotland can get chilly, even in summer.

OH MY! CB Watch out for the ladies here! :):)

I have a fleece animal print throw/blanket with a slit half way down the middle to wrap around my arms to keep them warm. It is so comfy.

Okay. I guess U already have one. The Queen has taken good care of you as always. :))

Both my sisters make and made quilts (one died).  I like the heavy ones.  I like to feel weight, especially when its cold.  Most are made with cotton, and very extremely beautiful. One sister has several 1st place awards. The other sister who died got an award 6 months before she died at the Sacramento County Fair.  she was in a wheel chair at the time dying from cancer, but she was happy because that was her first ribbon.  She even stood up and danced a little bit.  I think that was her last earthly event, besides Kaiser and Stanford Hospitals.  She even had a little crush on her handsome Stanford doctor.  She told me if I wasn't married and didn't have cancer, I would marry him.  That's how my sister was.  She got everything she wanted in life.  Her son said after she died, my mother did it her way. And she did.

You guys are talking a foreign language,i come from a place called the Sunshine Coast in Aussie,,unless you go to South Aussie, they might know what you are talking about..but on the Sunshine Coast we have Sun and Waves..>>>>>>>><<<<<<<<..

Why is this limited to the people who live in cold climates. It snowed here once and even the a.c. can get cool. I keep a poly filled comforter on my bed all year round. It's there if I need it......

I guess because there is cold (called cool) and snowing once....then there is cold (called COLD!!!) and snowing everyday. Cold = minus 25*F) :)

It had to be a down blanket. So does my coat have to be down in the winter.
