New Jersey Governor Chris Christie signed a bill to remove outdated laws. Should any of them have been kept?
Answers: 3 Views: 609 Rating: 3 Posted: 9 years ago

The same thing was done here in California. One law I liked was axed. That was the law that said anyone could remove junk from state owned garbage dumps. Although it needed modification, it was just axed because businesses didn't like the fact that poor people could get something used or repairable from the trash. I saw that as a cursed insult by State Assembly Members who over stepped their authority to push poor folk further into the gutter until their nose bleed. And now I see that the elected freedom-haters are wrecking more lives by property taxes that exceed Social Security benefits for seniors forcing old folk onto the streets.

How does one take care of phantom pain?
Answers: 4 Views: 607 Rating: 2 Posted: 9 years ago

Phantom pain is one of the oddest phenomena I have studied. It can be used to demonstrate the spiritual presence of a person by measuring responses in the electro-static charge level in the air and is indicated by animals that need not be in the same room. But then proving the existence of such oddities is considered to be a challenge for skeptics who survive on their denial.

It rained here 7inches. What do you call bad weather?
Answers: 3 Views: 513 Rating: 2 Posted: 9 years ago

On the day my family moved to Fort Worth Texas There was a locust plague that blackened the sky with their numbers at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. The locust ate every green thing for miles, ate the hair off dogs, cats, cattle and horses, the paint off the houses and the windshield wiper blade rubber off the car. The silent dawn greeted us with what looked like a stark war zone where everything was intensely suffering a dead grey blight..

How late do you stay up?
Answers: 8 Views: 2415 Rating: 6 Posted: 9 years ago

I'm up @ 5AM and sleeping soundly @9PM. I record what I would otherwise stay up to watch and my phone records all in-comming calls. By doing this my day is more flexible and less dependent on my time. My recorder goes to events that conflict with my first person schedule and I have had back-logs I didn't have time for and had to compress. My life presently is much more relaxed than it has been.

Are Christians more violent than Muslims?
Answers: 9 Views: 1123 Rating: 5 Posted: 9 years ago

The belief in the benefits of personal sacrifice to save or benefit others and to kill armed opposition as a way to solve problems is deeply imbedded in both Christians and Muslims. The idea in both is that those who die are rewarded by their personal sacrifice in Heaven. In seeking to kill their opponent, their success uplifts their status in service. Our (both) martyrs insure a continual stream of benifits for their respective families and thus anxiously look forward to their selfless act of courage in taking out more opponents than their rivals.

There are many reasons that start wars and few reasons that foster a peaceful, loving relationship between peoples. Accepting differences between very different religious groups can only be accomplished by mutual respect rather than utter rejection with out acceptance or compromise.

What would YOU like to ask? What kind of answers would you like to give?
Answers: 7 Views: 994 Rating: 4 Posted: 9 years ago

I enjoy all our comments here.  But we really don't get that closeness elsewhere and I would like our chats to continue. My concern is that the site could someday vanish leaving us without an alternate site to share our views in all of our personal ways. I like our personal association in this format...like a group discussion where anyone can join in to blurt out their answer and comments.. Its great fun and I love all of you very much...
