Dwilk - Estate Agents here are not highly respected - I have heard them say if I were to say I was a shoplifter - I would get more respect. I suspect it is because they do not always tell the truth? about what they are selling and of course prioritise to whom they sell for monetary reasons. It is rather complex - not sure what really goes on - but their reputation is certainly poor.
shercrst - I am having trouble trying to understand why you are asking this question. When you say expensive medical therapies - how do you know this - it seems rather imotive to say "expensive". I realize that medical care in the states is not free at the moment but any human being deserves help where ever they are - presumably those who cannot afford help for ordinary medical care - I am sure and hope get help.
For the run of the mill illnesses - these can prove to be more of a problem i.e. on going if they do not get help and prove to be "expensive" Some may have contagious illnesses which would affect all around them to include the staff. Interesting to know you say "expensive" therapies - what in the world might these be. Regarding treatment of illness and suffering this is not up for question - of course they should be treated.

I always thought this quote ended "to see ourselves as others see us". It's in there somewhere? ROMOS will know and he would also know how to say this and even write this the Scottish way. Amazing question - I will have to read everyone's answers. To be honest with you I do not mind what they say about me - I know I have done more than my bit on this earth - Oh dear, - somewhat arrogant and a touch of sanctimonious but not meant to be. No flowers for me - flowers are for the living I feel and their place is really in the earth. I think however - it is more important what they say and think about you when you are alive - although I am not at all worried about that either unless it is reciprocal hurt.

Did you know Koala's have finger prints which are indistinguisable from human beings - at a crime scene difficult to know if koala or man i.e. they are exactly the same. Just love these bears. I also love this site akaQ&A - would like to be here more often - but tiring sometimes especially for the eyes.
veysley - no not so sure Julie if we will be here who knows. I certainly know this body will not last that long - so sure of this - little life span left. However, there are parts of technology I would like to see gone - only know about the obvious technology - that being communication - this being 70% of body language needed in many areas of society. Why so much time is spent by married people talking to each other on cell phones - even family life. Not sure how the youth are going to manage their lifes - so important to develop empathy, sympathy, thoughts, and general human feelings through face to face interactions. The lack of these interactions are so very much affected in all sorts of areas. Just a little of what I am trying to say.

Shameful - so long since I have been here and when I visit I say to myself - it's great here - I must do this more often. Like Ducky said in a different post - cannot find - I also did nothing as usual - but get the feeling it's OK as everyone else is also doing nothing - but I hope enjoying this time.

saydiebug - Because they are "kids" and that's what they do. You say "act up" this can be inappropriate as a result from adult influences. If they are lucky they will carry their child-like world into the adult world - have a high child - have great artistic talents and other good things.
