Even if we don't buy pies and cakes most of us still consume a lot of sugar. It's in just about everything. It would be very difficult to totally avoid sugar so I guess moderation is my answer. I don't want a diet of just vegetables ... even carrots have sugar in them! EVERYTHING IN MODERATION, We're all heading toward old age. Even some of us are already there! Whoopie!
I can hardly believe it! Bindi is lovely. She was a cute kid so it just follows that this happened.
I am often helped. Sometimes it's a matter of support or companionship. Sometimes it's for a laugh. Sometimes I can get information on how to cook a cabbage. (ask jhharlan about that one) Other times I try to help. akaQA is a good place to be. It's a good place to learn.
I took a class to quit smoking. We had to think of ten reasons why we liked living. I came up with 100. I guess it helped me to quit.
They never said a word about the evils. They stayed positive. Most of the group actually did quit! I think it was 25 years ago .... anyway, a long long time ago.

Contratulations, Bob. When I first became a grandmother I didn't really want to admit it to folks. I really and truly thought I was way to young to be sooo old. Now I don't think of it that way at all. Our grandchildren keep us young because we have to be so we can relate with them and keep them safe. Congratulations to all concerned, of course!

Oh my ... I was at a class party. Someone suggested Spin The Bottle. I kept getting Ron Gullick. Over. And over. And over. I was about 14 and went home and told my mom I was going to marry Ron. He liked my sheath dress. A lot. To this day I wonder what would have happened. I always liked himmmmmm.
