I will sometimes forget to eat (yes, forget to eat) if I am really absorbed in something....organizing something in my house, painting a picture, reading something interesting. I suppose that happens every couple of months.

No. I want my money to go where it is most needed. There are dozens of agencies who assist those who need it and they have much more information about "those in need" than I do. Some panhandlers (not all) are simply seeking drug and alcohol money and are well known in this community, for doing so on a daily basis. I prefer to help support a rehab facility. To me, it makes more sense.

I've arrived home to discover that I was overcharged a dollar or two. Not worth a drive back so they made extra profit. I once had a cashier hand me a fifty dollar bill by mistake when giving me change. When I handed it back to her she was very grateful and said "Oh thank you so much. I would have been charged for the error"!
I like that kind of stuff because I'm an English and grammar freak! :)
