More people with more guns will equal more dead people! If it's okay for all citizens to have guns, why do police officers even need to be trained. Just grab a gun and anyone can be ready to protect others?

And it was fantastic! Hadn't tried the restaurant before so it was an "expensive risk". Great food, great server and great restaurant owner. He was wandering around between courses, chatting with all the customers and asking if they liked their meal. He also bent over backwards to serve me food that was safe for my dietary requirements. Excellent food with a welcoming atmosphere.

We usually have several snow storms during the winter, particularly during the month of January. One is the same as another but the worst part of these storms is if/when the power goes out. I've been fortunate enough to be excluded from that headache for many years. January is approaching... :)

I wasn't aware that cursive is no longer taught. I guess they want to match the math skills that are also non-existent. I made a purchase the other day in a small office. The amount was $23.05. I handed her $25.00 and she went to her calculator. (Really, I thought?) I then handed her a dime (thinking I was being helpful). Wow, that really threw her into a tizzy. I had to tell her, "You owe me $2.00 change from the $25.00 and a nickel from the dime". She said okay and gave me the change but she was still looking confused as I was leaving. Sad.
No, I don't think they do the job. I tried those specialized glasses/lenses years ago and at that time anyway, they made no difference. I do know that since I am currently developing cataracts, my night vision is getting worse. I have streaks out from lights....headlights, street lights and wet pavement is horrible. Surgery is coming and I understand that it is very effective. As west-bus mentioned, might you be developing cataracts?
