I make my home as peaceful as I can. My room is set up for relaxing and unwinding and a place that I can just shut the door and have quiet.
Happy Birthday, I hope you are being spoiled by family and friends...Huge hug from Canada:)
I too am self employed like fish girl...it's nice not to rely on a company to keep you employed and i get along with my boss quite well;)
I took my boys to Peru this past summer. We were on a tour through Cuzco, Machu Picchu, and the Amazon jungle as well as a few smaller villages. We were shown how they make and color the Alpaca Wool, brought through an animal rescue, toured many ruins, had a guided tour through Machu Picchu as well as the Amazon Jungle. It was constant education as well as learning that the rest of the world isn't sitting in front of a flat screen television playing video games, fridges aren't constantly stocked with food and the daily struggles we think we have don't compare to what others in a third world country have.My children and I came home with our eyes open to just how blessed we are to have been born in Canada. How much more educational can you get!
Spanish...it is a beautiful country...I hope you go to Macchu Piccu as well as the Amazon jungle.
Lol...my son told me on the way to grocery shopping that when I get mad I get that "taking a crap" look on my face. I burst out laughing at the thought of that one.
Yuk, doesn't sound too appealing to me. I would go and just keep in conversation with the family you enjoy. You really don't have to get involved with their crap. A bloody tounge and turkey won't go well so I suggest you just stuff some stuffing in your mouth and give it a new meaning for stuffing...lol;)
I love what I do and I love what I am achieving due to my efforts. I don't think I would be happy not working really. Maybe once it is time to retire, I will have saved enough for retirement that I can continue my travels and live quietly in a little cottage or a float home. Not working gets me nowhere so I wouldn't want to try not to.
I have too much going on to give myself enough time to enjoy the sight these days. Kids, work, house, my dad, new man. I miss being here as much but i still have the chance once in awhile through the day to touch down. have a great day PKB
Congrats...you figured out how to put the pictures up;).....Beautiful by the way, thanks for sharing.
