A notarized statement within your country of origin is possible allowing medical attention to your daughter.  Check with American Consulate in your country and if you know the hospital contact them.

First connect the VCR to the Directv input, then connect the Dircetv to your TV.  If you have routine cords it's easy.  If you have HDMI, connect Directv via HDMI cable to TV.
