Space is infinant as far as man can understand that. There are many Universes' and God has created the " Heavens and the Earth ". I settle for that senario. Also.. we would be foolish and egotistical to think we are the only lifeforms in all the Universe.
Can you imagine another lifeform coming here to visit? I bet we scare them.
My father is an ordained minister. He believes the prophecies and says we're down to the 10 toes of Colosus. Actually, I think the world is coming to an end. It was inevatable for this to come about. Prophecies state " brother against brother " .... Maybe the wars in the Middle East? AntiChrist? Hmmm... now I wonder who that might be? False prophets... Wow, doesn't the Morman Church have prophets, like Joeseph Smith, Brigham Young... Who knows! Maybe I've been wrong about the faith I'm in . I do believe in a greater power and don't think mankind here will be shown much mercy.
I refuse to cast judgement on others and their beliefs. There are so many different beliefs and faiths that it is confusing... when all state they are the true Church of God. I hope that believing will be enough for some, but living the word is the only key to eternal life.
I was taught that Adam was created in God's image and placed in the Garden of Eden. God noticed he was lonely and troubled and took a rib from him creating a woman named Eve. At this time .. it was gone un-notiiced of gender differences, until Eve took a bite of an apple.
Like I've stated before.. Education goes both ways. One of "Faith" and one on "Logic". Whewwww!
Religion is a type of learning through the teachings of the Bible. Education can differ in other facilities than a Church, such as a public school. Both teach idealogue views. One of " Faith ", and one of 'Logic".
Death will be the final appreiciation of the life given to you. How you leave life behind will be entirely on you. Most people believe in a spiritual ending of Heaven or Hell through redemption of the forgiveness of their sins.
Myself... I believe in a power much greater than myself. I also would call that power God. I believe that God is also more understanding than what most people think. I am not a Saint and never will be one. I'm only human and I'm certain that my life is not a perfect one. But it also is not one I believe will be punished by eternal fire.
In short.. I guess death will be a final answer for us all. I will just try and be honest with all the rest of my life and try to do good as much as possible. I still feel anger, sadness, happiness, and love. All of these feeling can sometimes be the death of us all.
Although most people who are religious find Halloween inapropriate and will not allow their children to participate in this holiday. Here, where I live, it's called " Nevada Day ", the same day to mark the year we were accepted as a State.
I think that people who hold kids back on this holiday and it's intention for collecting candy and dressing up like a Goblin, carry their religious beliefs to cover up their own convictions on this. It is the same thing they do about Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny.
When we take away the imagination of our children and constantly drill in the Heaven and Hell theory, we are making a big mistake. Children should go to Sunday School and learn of Biblical History there, and what is right and wrong.
Children at a young age should not be scared into religion as to whether or not they may go to Hell at any moment if they have any wrong doing. This is simply not right and they should lead a childs life until they are of age. When they become of age ... then let them decide on their own.
It took me 5 times until I finally got it right. Marriage.
We could use a spell checker on this answer box.
I actually think it would be a boring world if people were of the same color, as I would if all things were one color. It is ridiculous to think color has anything to do with being a human being. Try going to a kindergarten class and observing all the children playing together. It isn't until they get older that they are subject to discrimination.
There are those who I believe are career racists. To name a couple .. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson. They, to me, thrive to segregate people from one another. I don't have to explain why I'm the color I am, and no one has to explain their color to me. Intelligent conversation is the only way to determine what a person has on their mind and what their character level is.
Halloween should be just for the children. They seem to be more responsible with the idea of dressing up and having fun. When the older (teens) do this.. they seem to do it for intimidation purposes.
It builds character in the kids, as the little ones have fears of death and the unknown. It gradually breaks them in and gives them a sense of relief to know that they are the " Goblin " on that night.
Then, in the end, they all get to eat their treats and the excitement lingers for a couple of days. Adults are the ones that ruin it for the children. Next .. we'll be capping on Santa Clause.
