"What is written," is a pretty broad statement.   Generally speaking, just because a thing is written does not necessarily mean it is the truth.  Nothing written in books are written in cement, their ideas evolve may even inspire others, to their own revelations or ideas.  If you are refering to Bibles all the more challenge it, what does it mean what doesn't it mean, squeeze it for all it has to offer, beyond the literial.  For a word clothes or represents a conscious idea and it is this idea we seek to hear.

After all it is just a marvelous book of Advanced Physics, full of formulas seeking solutions, though they just happen to be verbal formulas, called metaphors, parables and such.  Each and every one embodies its own solution and in the understanding guide the way to a practical application in everyday living.  To Understand it is to hear its inspiring Spirit therein.  The truth is the Spirit is never stagnated by the histories of men who ever seek to imprison it, but it is ever progessive in the evolving consciousnesses of men form Age to Age.      

Gods presence in a man is Life itself, not personality which is the body servant.  Therefore God hears all thoughts, and deeds in the instant, as well as in the consciousness of prayer.  There is nothing He does not know about one.  For being the reality; the very Life of men, He is mortalized, thus ever present.    

Men need references, for a focus, therefore; the Soul is an "essence," but a  Spark of Divine Consciousness gifted or given unto men by God.  It is a spiritual piece, if you will or if we may be so bold, of Himself.  It is an aspect of His Divine Idea of Himself in Earthlife as the Good or God.  Although in men it must be realized, this is the whole purpose of the Existence and the need of its enlightening trials.   

God is not a "thing" by any means as men call things, things.  Yet God is the Father of all things, by his idea of them, including men.  Yet He is not a thing for He resides in his own Idea.   Thus is He beyond name for He is not a thing to be named.  This for want of a true definitation the Ineffable.  But we men need references to understand therefore let it be gloriously God, for the focus thereof is ever His Goodly Image on the World and in Earthlife   ;-) .

Indeed worse Randy as long as men believe in the worst and have faith in the worst.  Group Consciousness as a whole generates all things, for Good or evil in the world of men.

Jesus, said let not your hearts be troubled that neither let it be afraid, that I said I will go away, and come again unto you, I will not leave you alone, but I will send unto you a Comforter.

He Jesus (body/personality) would have go away (demonstrating this by the crucifixion of this body/personality) but would not leave men alone, but in his good stead, he would send men a "Comforter."   Also he said that if he didn't go away or make the sacred sacrifice, that Comforter whicih is Christ could not come or be revealed within the hearts of men..

But then again when that Comforter came (self-awareness) he would to teach men all things and bring to their remembrance or Understanding, all things that He, had said and revealed unto men.  This that they might find and know Christ within themselves, as God the Fathers "Love Consciousness",  that Divine Presence of the Son.   

This is the Comforter, the Christ only found only within mens hearts and Souls as promised of our beloved Brother Jesus.  By this do men become the True Children or the Good Sons of God.  This Good is Gods Image in the world of men.  Not as men say Good but of Spirit.

For how can men say they are childern of God the Father, crying out Father, Father and then denie their lawful Sonship?  This is the darkness of fundamentalism,   Think on this before you refute.  God Blesses His Children in this Awareness of Himself, within.

Jesus set the example, for he was but one man and changed the world.  Therefore for His sake and his Christ, the Comforter, let us seek ever to  "See" the Good in mens hearts that we see it again in the world inspite of the chaoes.  Therefore BETTER by every Hopeful,Good and Confident THOUGHT!  Let them understand it in heart who can; let them receive it in mind who can.  :-)

When last vestage of the  dark shadow (body/personality) of Ignorance (enemy, dark spirit) is  desolved (destroyed) in the Radiance of the Love Spirit, which is Christ the Lord.   When  "Love is the Law."  Thus this living "Love Consciousness" will have found Understanding in the hearts and thus the minds of the sons-of-men.

Not by wars of hate and vengence but by Love and Forgiveness, for only by this is the 'Innocence of man Restored."

This is the time and the beginning the glorious awakening of the Sons-of-God is at hand!  Let them hear it who can; let them receive it who can, now in this time and in this place wherein the shadows seek for the Light.  Amen.      

This in the Enochian Mysteries, is this secret, refered to as the "I not I" worlds."

Solution: the "I" is ever inclusive, while  the "not I" is ever exclusive.  This meaning  that the "I" can can exist without the "not I" but the "not I" can never exist without the "I".  For there must be a Subject before and Object; an Idea before a form; Consciousness before an organism.  Enough of the mental exercise; the fun stuff.  

For simply and plainly said, God is Life, and man cannot exist with that special Spark of Life Consciousness, God has gifted him with.  For this Spark, a part of Himself, is everlasting while the body/personality, containing It is not;  the who, who needs who.  Man must get the priorities striaght to Understand Gods Divine Spark is His Presence within all men, within all "things..

This is the solution to who needs who and who created who.   ;-)
