My guess would certainly be "True", with all the foreign and unique indigenous plants and animals, and maybe even waters, not know to England.  Power and money in these. And yes, Matheneyg,  mineral such as iron ore and such, too!  Only a guess, though.

No. In my belief, it's supposed to happen that way for some reason;  sometimes the answer why is known right off,  sometimes it is not.  But, it was meant to be, or happen just that way. Is an integral part of our daily lives and it's direction.

Fresh vegetables, fruit along with protein, peanut butter, nuts, meats.  These have staying power, along with higher fiber breads and grains, like lentils, barley (maybe add to soups), whole wheat breads.  AVOID sugar, all soft drinks and processed foods like crackers, potato chips, pretzels, white bread.  These will mess with your blood sugar and ramp up your appetite big-time. Hope it's a happy and uneventful pregnancy!  :-)
