It can be cool if the mom stays in school and goes on to some form of higher education so that she can support the baby and herself. Remember your parents have already raised a family and should not be expected to raise this baby. This baby is yours and yours alone.  You are lucky to have parents that are willing to help. When I was 15 and pregnant back in the sixtys when that happened they sent you to a home for unwed mothers  and the baby was put up for adoption or you got married, not much of a choice. Everyone has the MRSA cells in their body, some more then others. When those cells are exposed to air and the conditions are perfect, the patient will contract MRSA. I got mine in a hospital.19 weeks of antibiotics right in the vein and 6 weeks on pill form. Also 3 surgeries to remove dead flesh. That merely contained it . It is still in my foot still. If that foot is ever opened up again I have a very high risk of it flaring up again. It is kind of a crap shoot as to who gets it, the conditions have to be just right.

You should go to the public library and see if they have a book that gives you the info you are after. I have tried Google before and haven't had much luck. I once had a mama dog with pups that loved to eat apples off the tree. Every time she nursed the litter they would go into tremours. Our vet told us that apple seeds contained arsnic. not enough to affect humans or large dogs ( Samoyed )  but enough to transfer to the pups through the breast milk. We kept the dog away from the apple tree and no more problems.

If you don't know the guy, tell him no thanks. Then get out of the situation. I would not tell the wife if you don't know her. It is their marriage and it is none of your business. I would tell my husband just incase the whole scene gets turned around on you somehow. There are a lot of crazy people in this world and one should not mess with strangers,  they are not always playing with a full deck.

You may want to stay out of wherever you were that made someone feel it was OK to ask such a thing.
