Yes, agreed. Check your tyres before you drive the vehicle again. It would be nice to see you around.

should tank tops be allowed in school?
Answers: 7 Views: 2201 Rating: 1 Posted: 12 years ago
Oh dear... back to what to wear for school... and me upsetting everybody, yet again. I know there are sensible arguments for school uniform... you can't tell rich from poor... pride in the school... not distracting the opposite sex... The way to First Class Honours at university... or its equivilant in America, or anywhere else in the world, is STUDY. Dye your hair blue and wear a clown outfit if you must... but get homework in on time, all projects done well, aim for top grades in every subject, and good luck. Don't worry about me. I can take the flack :-)

How do I TALK to a REAL person about my problem?????
Answers: 8 Views: 600 Rating: 1 Posted: 12 years ago
Yes, absolutely. We are real people. Add a comment to your question, or post and answer, telling us your problem and we will do our best to help. Sometimes just "listening" helps and we are good at that too. Finger to keyboard, if you please. It's tomorrow in the UK and I have to go work in the morning :-)

how you do feal ?
Answers: 4 Views: 400 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago
I would FEEL better if harp could spell FEEL correctly. If he or she cares to be more specific, preferably with the help of a dictionary, I could answer the question, assuming there is a question to answer.

sound i be mad if i only have three friends to play with at school because all of the other kids are doing something i do not want to do
Answers: 7 Views: 283 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago
You are doing just fine. You have three good friends... and the good sense to ignore class mates who are likely to end up in trouble. Be a sensible about which questions you read if you explore this site further. Some are interesting and some are not particularly nice, just like people.

i have been a me helth aide for 14 years now my job requires a cna liense is there a way to just take the test without gong to school
Answers: 2 Views: 288 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago
Judging by the way you worded your question school would be a very good idea. I admire you for the work you do and I understand it must be frustrating to be told you can no longer do something in which you have 14 years experience without taking an exam. If there is a way round it, take it and go on working... but do consider an evening class in English. Something like this could stop you doing what you want just for the sake of a few hours study a week. Take care, and good luck.

I stopped having my period at 40 years old. I am now 58...can I still get pregnant?
Answers: 5 Views: 1886 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago
The realistic answer, and the one I think you want to hear, is NO. You are well past the menopause. Any doctor will tell you it is safe to stop taking precautions against pregnancy 5 years after your last period. Stop worrying. If you have an attack of feeling maternal right now, pay attention to Ms Sinclair, recognise the way you feel for what it is and don't even TRY to do anything so damn selfish. I have no time for men who become fathers so irrisponsibly late, never mind mothers. My mother parents were just over 40 when I was born and that was bad enough. They were a different generation to all the children I met at school, with different values. The result was I had no friends... no sleepovers etc etc allowed... I was NO FUN... uninvited to anything.

I think my cat has a urinary tract infection. Goes to the kitchen sink, squats and leaves bloody drip. Can't afford a vet. What can I do?
Answers: 4 Views: 835 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago
Find a charity that employs a vet or will pay or help pay the cost of a vet. The problem sounds like it be could be cured but you'll lose the cat if it isn't treated fast... and if anybody finds out you left it to suffer you could find yourself in court and fined. I don't mean to sound harsh. You love the cat or you wouldn't be asking the question. I'm HOPING you're in the UK because there are charities here that will help in a case like this. If you can't find one, go to a vet and explain. They aren't likely to do anything for free but they might know where you could get free help... and that may be the case in any country. If travelling is too expensive unless you know you can get free help, try a few local phone calls.

Does anyone know why a limit has been put on vote-ups, and whether there is a way of increasing it so that it doesn't run out?
Answers: 3 Views: 445 Rating: 1 Posted: 12 years ago
Thanks ninnet I asked because when I logged in Sunday or early on Monday, I didn't notice a limit existed. Today it does. If it's judged on karma it gives people with high karma a lot of power. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.
