I am with marmite and monkey and flip. I love debates when people put in opposing opinions and you can add your own and/or comment. Snide remarks, usually about one line, spoil it, but only if people take notice and start commenting. Maybe, unless it's real abuse, which could be quietly reported, it would be better ignored. Let's hope this question attracts attention and other members have a think about it.

There is such a thing as a phantom pregnancy, but one test isn't a reliable guide. If the doctor is free to visit... I don't know where you are or what you can afford... go and see her/him. If cost is a worry and testing kits are available in a pharmacy, use one. You could well be pregnant and if you are nothing you describe is abnormal. You are far enough on to need care though so you must arrange that. If one or more home tests read negative... doctor, because something is wrong. Take care

Sometimes wishes come true. I wished for lots of answers, just for fun, and this is the third time I've popped in and found a list of notifications :-) Nobody has quite matched Flip, but some of have come close... and everybody has entered something worth reading. I suppose I'd better come back tomorrow, just in case more TUs are required.

Indeed it is your responsibility, and Darci13 is right, but that is only half the answer. They must be ready for freedom, which means old enough to keep out of trouble... no longer any need for parental controls on the computer... no worries that they will steal a car... use drugs... You can never be sure, and you do have to let go, but equally you have a duty to know what they are up to until they are 18. Cut it the wrong word really... loosen the apron strings when you feel they are ready... there's no set age. Some youngsters are responsible at fifteen... others never will be. You can't live their lives for them so if they are still around in their early twenties, tell them there's a world out there so go take a look... and don't hurry back :-)

The monarchy doesn't work that way. Each king or queen reigns for their lifetime (Mostly - forget the Duke of Windsor,)and the eldest son is the heir to the throne, followed by the other sons by age... as in Charles, Andrew, Edward... and then any daughters. We only have a queen if there are no sons, hence Queen Elizabeth 11 who was the eldest of two sisters. Queens rule alone. Historically it was safer. Women were subservient to men and would be expected to obey them. A queen outranks a duke and was safe from the influence of one faction over others. Elizabeth the first went too far, refusing to marry at all, but who could blame her when her father signed her mother's death warrant?

Habit? It has to be done by somebody qualified to do it properly. There are two things wrong with the death penalty. The Americans leave people cluttering up death row. In Britain we abolished it and overfill our prisons, giving a clear signal to anyone intent on murder that they can go ahead without danger of losing their own life.

I've been back to the top of the list twice. I'll have another go. Colleen may not be religious, or not the way you see it? Signing "Love Randy" depends where you are. American friends regard it as a nomal name. In the UK "randy" means over-sexed. After that, you lose me until you say you voted down... crossly presumably, and voted back up. Sorted... except it left you -10. You don't sound any more wrong than most people to me... if you are, I forgive you, because God has... you prayed about all this.
