even though identical twins have identical DNA, there is a pool to draw from. That's why any set of parents kids, don't all look they same. They all draw from the same pool of genes, but don't all get the same ones.It is highly improbable that they would produce identical children. They would look like brother and sister (closer than cousins, but not identical)

You don't plant the tuber like you would with regular potatoes or with seeds like other plants. One plants what is called a sweet potato slip. It's a small plant that you can get at a plant nursery. It's a warm loving plant, so it usually can be found at the store later in the season. You can also grow your own slips from a sweet potato. If you have one that is sprouting, wait for the sprouts to gets about six inches long, (you will see them start to grow tiny air roots), pinch the sprouts off (but leave some bottom growth to grow a new sprout) lay the sprout horizontal in some soil indoors to get them started. I got 8 plants from one tuber this way, and should get about 8 more from the new growth as well. I'll plant them outside with plenty of room to spread about the first week of June, for my zone (zone 5) Let them grow all season, and harvest before frost.

Instead of trying to grow a plant, focus on growing your soil. Soil should be a living thing with helpful micro-organisms, earth worms,...a whole living system. This makes a good environment for healthy plants. Put compost on your land, and don't destroy your beneficial organisms with chemicals. Read on Permaculture for more!

you should have a button that says "recently deleted" or "trash" or "trash bin" click on that. Recently deleted emails will be in that folder for a time before they are permanently gone. Click on the desired email and at the top of the folder will be a"move" button. Click on "inbox" to move back to your inbox

I don't believe any vegetables REQUIRE peat-free compost. The reason peat-free is offered is because it is not considered a renewable resource. The natural peat bogs cannot restore themselves at the rate that man is taking from them.
