Clara Barton. She was a nurse during the Civil War and actually the founder of the American Red Cross. She was my hero when I was a little girl ... and she still is. Her life's story is inspiring.
For heaven's sake, momlennon ... GET A GRIP!
So happy for your full life. Good for you!
"Old age is not for sissies," as Art Linkletter once said. You youngsters probably don't even know who Art Linkletter is!
Copied from the I-Net: (Can this be true?)
The Zimbabwean dollar is the lowest valued currency in the world. Due to all the corruption and instability (thanks to dictator and all-round horrible and evil person Mugabe), a hundred billion Zimbabwean dollars can now get you 3 eggs. Yes, 3 eggs! Technically, most everyone’s a billionaire in Zimbabwe. 1 KD = Z$ 44,000,000,000. $1= Z$ 12,600,000,000. Fun, ha?

Piled all of my husband's unused brochures in the back of the truck and drove to two recycle places only to learn that NO ONE in this town recycles paper!! We are currently in Lake Havasu City, AZ (population 56,000). My own little village of 3,000 people not only recycles everything, but picks it up once a week. Shame on LHC ... and what am I gonna do with all these frickin brochures??
Happy Birthday Yvonne57!!! http://youtu.be/MIBdKVyGIi8
My brother gave me a large dill pickle. It was wrapped in a dozen boxes, each one larger than the last, and the whole thing was weighted with bricks. To top it off, he wrapped it in expensive gold foil wrap, tied it with an extravagant bow, and included an expensive, sentimental card. We laughed until we cried and our bellies ached for hours.
Oh this is just precious!!! Is that a goat? I always thought it would be fun to have a goat. I lived on a farm at that age, but no goats!
So you figured out how to upload pictures? Awesome!!
