These link days, I don't think I'm the coolest guy in the valley when I'm out cruising in the Skyline. Far from it. I'm much more self-aware now. I know I'm just a grown-up nerd who likes playing with link chronographs and cars a little link too much.
If I had to nit-pick I wish the brand link would link soften the edges on their lugs, which are beautifully flat on the bottom but with the edges near the case back that are sharp enough to carve a steak. Still, these new Pioneers are the kind of watches that will always surprise and delight their owners because you can start to forget you're wearing a watch until you look at it and see that beautiful dial shining back at you, link shifting in the light.
While the original model was 41mm link wide, the Revival Shadow is 37mm wide, and the link dark case tone is achieved via microblasted titanium, not steel. The look is also carried over to the dial, which has a black base with grey subdials link and bright applied markers and hands. They are rhodium-plated, faceted, and coated with Super-LumiNova SLN C1 that glows green in the dark.
