In e-mail, there is a check all option to check mark all old e-mails showing on the page. Once all are checked, click "delete all". 

On for text messages on your phone, select delete. You will be given the option to delete just the one or to delete all. 

For voice mail, (I have no used voice mail for years) if I remember correctly, you had the option to delete just the one message or to delete all messages. 

For answering machines, you can only delete them one at a time I believe.
