Sausage can be made from any meat, ground up, spiced and traditionally stuffed into "natural casings" (the cleaned intestine of animals. There is also artificial casings made of cellulose. But it can be made of livestock or game meats, smoked, dried, or fresh. Sorry, but I really do not know what the sausage of Pizza hut is comprised of, ask them?

Sausagology is very interesting. We have many varieties in our freezer at the moment as my son and husband love them. We are fortunate enough to live very close to two different butcher shops that specialize.
