I am becoming much fitter by walking more. I shop locally which is much better for my city and we are looking into living off the grid... one small step at a time.

The gas prices are ridiculous.

Painful . Its making a lot of the old ways of doing business no longer possible . Fact is others have payed much more for much longer,and they seem to survive . What I think : I dont like it not one bit .

I think we should all go shopping for horses and forget about these damned fancy contraptions. You get a lot more mileage out of a horse and they're faster than cars zero to thirty mph.

O.k., smartaz lol. Yes, it costs money to board a horse, but not as much as it costs to drive now a days! I just got back from Hawaii and the gas prices there were from $4.44 a galon to $4.89 a gallon. OUCH!

Set you up a still and start making your own fuel pay a few bucks get a fed tax stamp dilute your fuel to make it undrinkable and go from there

Doesn't bother me that much. I make my own... bio diesel from waste veggie oil. 80 cents a gallon + a little bit of time... 1991 Jetta diesel, 2001 F350 with powerstroke diesel, 2005 Jetta TDI, 13 horse Yanmar diesel compact tractor/ mower...had to do something.....
