Yes, but are often poorly paid, or on a commission basis, unless you already work and are fortunate enough to strike up an agreement with your current employer, though it can open a can of worms with OH&s issues i.e trips, falls, designated working are in your home must be established, where you may or may not be covered for workers comp should there be a mishap

Most folk don’t do home jobs if they are employed in a job that pays. If you have a car would you walk a mile to a store and back for milk.? The fact is there are many jobs that can be done at home or on your own that can pay just as well as one of those comfortable 9-5 jobs that sucks up your time for a low wage. I would not quit my day job to work at home unless you know you will do better there. I have worked at home producing jewelry, greeting cards, magnetic refrigerator magnets, several speciality items like angora plucking knives and lots of odd craft tools and jigs . This required the assistance of 45 other home workers that were producing parts and assemblages for distribution and sale and point of sales contracts with 120+ retail outlets. I think we could have done well if we had finacel backing to keep the children happy. They were all adults but and no one was cheated but keeping it going without sufficient financing doomed the situation. Then I found the MBA I hired was on crack as the ship went down. I lost $12k in the process. It’s risky and the people you work with need more than background checks. I’m not qualified. But I’m interested.
