It's human nature... we gravitate and then we congregate.  Can't help ourselves.

I can't help thinking would the results be different if we were mingling in the real and actual?

to me that's the whole thing about life, 'the people thing". i think its great. the people thing. otherwise how boring.  we be like little green men.  they appear to be bored from what i have seen in movies and on tv.  all of them have the same expression on their face. i am probably wrong tho. that mental telepathy thing should keep em pretty much into each other.  "he's thinking that, he's thinking this.  you know  that's why we on this site.  if we had mental telepathy we would already know what we all think and feel and we probably would want to visit a less evolved civilization and see what those citizens were up to. "The People Thing!"

I agree with fishgirl, we feel an affinity with some people, gravitating  towards those that have similar thoughts and ideas is a natural process even at an unconscious level.

If it is cliquish, how did that happen?  This is definitely the group I most often find myself interacting with, but I don't seek out any of your questions in particular.   It's nice to see a newer name show up, but there's just a core that seems reliable.  No one is discouraged from contributing in any category, so what phenomena puts this bunch in touch so often?  Again, if this is a clique, how did it happen?   
 

Cant say ive noticed it but i tend to look at the questions and answeras rather than whos posted them,maybe its just me...

Been clickish, is not good thing, We are all here to ask /answer questions. But as saying goes, There is favouritism in hell. as well as on earth.

2nd part of question: Yes.

Not intentionally ,just happens that like thinking people show up in the same place . I have seen a bunch of answers and I think most are on the same page . Personally I think we are in good company  . If its a click then so be it . I am fine with it .

We are a family and newbies are welcomed. I was gone for a couple of weeks and it surprised me how much I missed it here and how happy it made me to get back and see old friends........
