Guessing::: Dont use your hand for this chance of sharp edges ,remove plug not just the wire check the throat of the chute going to the bag for burrs . If you hit something or arough edge is there from manufacture it will catch the grass and you have jam in no time .I would do a google search :::; customer feed back satifaction on model ......................................  and see if others are having the same problem . The bag may be too air tight and once you build up pressure nothing else is going in there including grass. Good luck be safe and pull that plug its the only way to be safe when you rotate that blade . That may be your problem as well blades are pretty high tech these days it may be cut and drop blade instead of one you use for pick up .   Good Luck                                          Bill
