just coz one woman did this to you does not mean all women are alike and you cannot judge one situation and come to this conclusion...this was your dilemma,your story...not all women lie and are unfaithful...men and women lie..it is a fact...I feel sorry for you since you seem to never have turned the page to this chapter in your life...forgive,so your heart and soul can be at peace...my advice to you:-)))if I had been betrayed(and I have)by so called friends this does not mean any new friends I will make in the future are also going to betray me or lie to me...this world has good and bad intentions-inclined people...there is nothing we can do to change someone's personality but pray to God to change what is in their hearts first...if they truly what to change...this woman you married happened to be a lying chick.....not all women lie to their men and are deceitful..THANKS GOD otherwise you will not find faithful couples all around the world...There are people who fear GOD enough to not be unfaithful to their husbands...Men too betray...celebrities,sport men,musicians etc...politicians are the worse if you ask me...a whole country depend on them and when you find out they been sleeping right and left with many women who know they are married and are in this position=IT SUCKS!!!!!

my question was more in the topic of being independent as in having your own money,having your own car,your house,paying your own bills when you are single mother and not wanting a man to take care of your bills for you because you as a person can do it all by yourself...To me beign an independent woman means that I am in charge of my own person,I make my rules,my decisions,I take control of my destiny,my life,I am not scared to fall,fail,learn from my mistakes.I do not ask all the times someone to do things for me...I do things for me,I rely on myself before relyign on anyone else,especially a man...I am not sexist at all just I have this strong belief that man and woman are born equal i the sight of God and we can do things men do and we do not have to fear anything.I believe that we,women are capable of great achievements just as men are...We are strong enough to give birth so we can do anything:-))
and bluesman195...when I said "lying to their face"it is in reference to when a woman asks her husband(not her boyfriend or some guy she is just dating,a one night stand etc...)while he is looking at her in the eyes...she already knows the answer but just asking to see of he is going to be honest with her...AND STILL HE LIES TO HER,denying the fact that he is cheating on his wife
I truly believe RESPECT,TRUTHFULNESS,TRUST are the best ingredients for couples to stay faithful to each other.....if my husband cheats on me...I KICK HIM TO THE CURB!!!!
