Reinforced through the years from the many who have passed through akaQA is the fact we all walk our separate paths. Jumping to conclusions, presuming and assuming, and expecting everyone to have the same level of morality, integrity, intelligence, and faith you think you bring to the table is nuts. Some bring a lot more, and some, much less. Respecting differences doesn't require accepting "whatever", and that is OK.
I was not willing to wait 45 minutes at The Olive Garden for a table last night. I buy theatre tickets with seat selection when there's down time - no show starting w/n 30 minutes, so no one in line. I avoid waiting and do my best to be early to meet a friend.
I think the longest I've waited is overnight, 15 hours, for a rerouted flight. Airline supplied a hotel room, food vouchers.
