why do nice guys always finsh last
Answers: 8 Views: 992 Rating: 0 Posted: 13 years ago
NICE GUYS DON'T FINISH LAST, THEY JUST DO NOT BRAG ABOUT WINNING OR FINISHING FIRST. NICE GUYS UNDERSTAND THAT BEING KIND, CONSIDERATE, THOUGHTFUL & PATIENT IS THE GOAL, AND THAT ENDING UP THE "WINNER" NATURALLY FOLLOWS. The nice guy doesn't behave nicely in order to come out on top, and isn't in a hurry to "win" because he's already WON by being a person with healthy values. Good things naturally happen to kind people who measure their success by their values and not by their "winnings". Looked up VALUES in a reference book= examples of values are: self honesty, honest with others, kindness, patience, tolerance, loyalty, courage, hope, humor, forgiveness, etc. Our Values define who we are. When our actions reflect our values, we have "won" and are "on top". Winnings= cash, prizes, profits, triumph, victory: all things that are fleeting, easily "lost", or used up. A person's winnings do not define them. I suggest you be a good person, and then attract a nice guy (they have values). You will have WON! Best wishes to you.

Can Parkinson's be related to acute pain in the anterior elbow and frontal pelvic area?
Answers: 2 Views: 952 Rating: 0 Posted: 13 years ago
No, Parkinson's is NOT a primary reason for acute elbow pain or acute front groin pain. This patient needs to be seen by their physician. Be sure to take an accurate list of all the medications your partner takes, including non-prescription meds.

facet joint injection hasent work what should i do
Answers: 2 Views: 767 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago
A facet joint injection is entirely different than Radio Freq. burning of the nerve. Facet joint injections sometimes need to be repeated in order to obtain relief, they're often given in a series of 3 injections, spaced a few days to 2 weeks apart. There should be some relief obtained after injection # 3, felt within 1 week. There are many factors that will affect the outcome of these injections. One is the cause of your back pain: is there organic evidence of a cause for your back-pain on MRI or CT scan or even plain XRay? If not, the injections are less likely to be effective. Another factor is the physician: some pain specialist are good and some are better than good. It's always fair to ask your primary care doc or your neurologist for the name of a different pain specialist in your area. Best wishes to you, I hope you feel better soon.

WHAT TO DO IF A TODDLER WILL NOT WASH HER HANDS? SHE IS 3YR -3 MO.
Answers: 11 Views: 998 Rating: 2 Posted: 12 years ago
Does your granddaughter use her hands normally during the day, without complaint? Does she let her hands get wet in the swimming pool? Will she sit on a barstool or stand on a chair and help wash dishes? If you feel confident that her body is in good health and there's no physical reason for her to want to keep her hands dry, then you and her mother can change your approach and get the results you want. Try instead letting her keep her hands out of the bath water. Don't make a fuss. Provide a small towel if her hands get splashed. Make it a non-issue. At this point she's getting used to the negative attention, which to a child is mixed up and the 'almost-the-same' as positive attention. Negative attention getting can be a difficult problem to outgrow, so best to simply find another more effective way to deal with this. Plan with your daughter water activities she and your grandchild can do that are fun: in the afternoon lets wash the duckies in the kitchen sink. Use a little bubble bath in the sink for extra fun and stimulation. Does she want to help wash dishes? How about a big bowl of water on the back porch with measuring cups and plastic spoons to play with? Supervise the child as she plays with the bowl of water. Her hands will get clean during the day. And she, 3 years old, can keep her hangs above her head and hold the towel during bathing. Eventually you can put some water toys in the tub as it's draining, and she'll be willing to play with them. But only if the negative attention stops first. Otherwise you're participating in a battle of wills, and neither of you will win.

i do not move in my sleep and therefore am sore when i wake up what could be the problem?
Answers: 4 Views: 627 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago
There are so many variables here... Does the morning soreness get better as you move around or are you sore all day? Do you feel rested during the day? Do you nap suddenly during the day? Do you snore? What other medical conditions do you have? What medicines do you take? All of these things should be asked when you go to a good doctor and have a complete examination. That's going to be the only way to get an accurate clear answer for a question such as this.

What mg is a round pink pill that says COR 135?
Answers: 3 Views: 3129 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago
WHERE DID YOU GET THIS PILL? Can't you call the doctor who prescribed it and ask? If you do not know what exactly this pill is, DISCARD IT. You get only one body in this lifetime, and you need to think and make smart decisions if you're going to stay healthy. Your pharmacy knows what they've prescribed for you so you can go there or call the pharmacist. Otherwise: THROW IT AWAY. Please.

is lyrica any good
Answers: 2 Views: 437 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago
LYRICA is a non-narcotic medication that can help with chronic pain. The doctor should start the patient on a low dose so that the patient can adjust to the medication without having significant side effects. The starting doses can be effective for pain relief, but sometimes the starting dose isn't enough for pain relief, so the doctor may need to be slowly increase your dose until you reach maximum benefit. A limiting factor to the dosing, which does not happen often, can be sleepiness. Also, if you notice swelling of the hands or feet the doctor needs to be contacted right away. If you or your doctor decide to discontinue the Lyrica, the doctor should give you a schedule to use to slowly decrease the dose until you're off the pill. Lyrica should never be stopped suddenly because a seizure may occur. This medicine can be safe and very helpful for pain control, as long as you communicate with your doctor, take it as directed, and slowly increase the dose per the doctor's advice.

What is the most cause of death in the US?
Answers: 1 Views: 575 Rating: 0 Posted: 12 years ago
and the cause of these accidents, as well as liver disease, heart disease and dementia: TOO MUCH ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION. The doctor I work for has patients in their 30's, 40's and 50's with permanent liver and brain disease from chronic alcohol use. Weekend binges do damage too.
