i do not move in my sleep and therefore am sore when i wake up what could be the problem?

There are so many variables here... Does the morning soreness get better as you move around or are you sore all day? Do you feel rested during the day? Do you nap suddenly during the day? Do you snore? What other medical conditions do you have? What medicines do you take? All of these things should be asked when you go to a good doctor and have a complete examination. That's going to be the only way to get an accurate clear answer for a question such as this.

i have gone to a doctor and had sleep apeana tests done i do have sleep apeana but can't find out why i do not move. no one seems to know, i had one doctor tell me it was like someone that has died and the blood pools up in that place that i lay so long and do not move. i am exhausted all the time and am unable to enjoy life as i used to. i appreciate your response and all the other responses also

I have the opposite problem. That's why we now have the two beds arrangement. I constantly toss and flip during sleep.

I suffer from this too so I know how you feel. I find a hot shower, or a bath if I have time, helps.

I do know the reason for my problem... a near fatal accident several years ago that left muscle damage.

If nothing like that has happened to you I think it would be worth seeing a doctor. There could be a problem that needs treating.

If not, you could stop worrying. It's not impossible stress caused by worry leaves you going to sleep in a stiff position and not moving, or something as simple as bedding tucked in too tightly.
