How long can you stay awake?
Answers: 3 Views: 925 Rating: 0 Posted: 13 years ago

It depends if naturally or chemically induced. I have stayed up 17 days back in the day with a group of 6 of us. I lasted 2nd longest, 20 days was the record out of all 6. Naturally 62 hrs a little over 2.5 days. I do not recommend either one.

What's the bullet Speed?
Answers: 3 Views: 1590 Rating: 1 Posted: 13 years ago

A bullets shot out of a handgun has its greatest velocity just when leaving the muzzle. All slow down from there. Another consideration if you have 2 identical guns shooting the exact ammo but one has a six inch barrel and the other a 4 in. The longer the barrel will have the higher terminal velocity, all other things being equal. Velocity of any bullet is measured in fps, feet per second. It also depends on the size of the projectile of same caliber bullets and type of powder used. For our comparison we are compare Remington UMC_Pistol Ammo maintaining the same gun powder make-up. Keep in mind that larger caliber ammo has a larger casing were more powder can fit inside but has a heavier, measured in grains or gr for short, projections to propel. We will use the 3 most popular large caliber ammo with various sized bullets made for each caliber. 9mm 115 grain (gr) bullet> 1145fps - 9mm 124gr bullet> 1100fps -9mm 147gr bullet> 990fps - 40s&w 165gr bullet> 1150fps - 40S&W 180gr bullet 1015fps - 45acp 185gr bullet>1015fps - 45acp 230gr bullet> 835fps. Most large size caliber pistols like were just compared have an average of just around 1050fps at muzzle velocity. How about a thumbs up for that accurate research!

How much do you care of your government's foreign affairs?
Answers: 2 Views: 2210 Rating: 1 Posted: 13 years ago

Both are a must. We have many important assets and interest out in the world that could make this recession look 10X worse than the late 1920s and early 30s. If you check out our GDP from 2008, 2009 and 2010 it is slightly higher each successive year, no real growth but, hardly a true recession. A major battle at this time could cause public hysteria and we would see a real depression.

Why a God?
Answers: 35 Views: 5879 Rating: 4 Posted: 13 years ago

bluedeath, we can agree not to agree and still be friends. I'll even give you a thumbs up for asking the question many of us have also thought. I am not all religious and have never read half of the bible. I do know it says that not all men will make it to the heaven. God promised us salvation and forgiveness if we unconditionally accept him as our one true creater and turn or lives faithfully to him. Basically have faith in him that anything evil can be over come with him in your heart. The attribute of God which describes his ability to do whatever He wills. God's will is limited by His nature, and He therefore cannot do anything contrary to His nature as God, such as to ignore sin, to sin, or to do something absurd or self-contradictory. God is not controlled by His power, but has complete control over it; otherwise He would not be a free being like he has made us. To a certain extent, He has voluntarily limited Himself by the free will of His rational creatures, our free will to sin or be seduced by evil. In other words there is nothing that God cannot do except that which goes against His nature. God alone has the power to conquer sin and death. He even created Satan who disobeyed and fell, therefore, He has power over him. He promised to give us the power to overcome the evil in this world. But we must have complete faith in him and not be a psychopathic molester. I hope some made sense and here is your thumbs up. If this made you think a little more than a thumbs up for the my (opinion) answer will be appreciated.

The answer is yes. Which came first, minimal swelling of the foot, ankle and leg over very long period of time were it became gradually worse and worse very slowly. Or the high pressure? Each are symptoms of each other and yes high blood pressure effects your circular system and effects blood output of your heart causing swollen leg syndrome and headaches. Over time, other symptoms of a swollen leg will develop: High blood pressure- if not already presented, Headaches, Increased urination, Palpitations, Swollen hands and/or wrists, Puffy eyes and Weight gain. Hope this answer helps answer your question and adds a thumbs up if worthy.

Should you buy an extended warranty?
Answers: 6 Views: 1747 Rating: 1 Posted: 13 years ago

Yes, 9 times out of 10 it is not worth it. I used to sale electronics at Best Buy and we made commission on every extended warranty. It covered the item for 1 year after the manufactures warranty expired. In some cases the manufactures warranty lasted 90 days. So the item is like new and more than likely will last that amount of time. It depends on the cost of the item and coverage and cost of the product.

new world order
Answers: 12 Views: 1766 Rating: 3 Posted: 13 years ago

Were am I missing the point. I am just presenting another view point. Please no thumbs down, I am just looking for what I am missing. All comments are appreciated. Thank you.

Why do we have nearly 200 different countries? We are all humans with the same genetic make up and mutual goals to help our children grow up and be respectful, decent and productive members of society. If we all worked together we would be more efficient and have an "explosion" of advanced technologies in nearly every aspect of life and industries. No war b/c we are one- the human race. I can see how this would drag down the USA, Japan, Germany and the other wealthy countries but after a couple of decades we would be united and things will level out.

Even Strong Men Struggle
Answers: 8 Views: 2850 Rating: 7 Posted: 13 years ago

Most definitely yes, I guess that's why I am not married or have any children. If I am going to fulfil all those roles, the woman must be my perfect match or no deal. leeroy has some good points about all the pressures a male can face if he has to fulfil all those roles. Now a days, many woman have as many similar roles as men. There is no reason to expect those women not to have the same "burdens" as a male in the similar role.

What Topic Interest You The Most On This Site, Why?
Answers: 9 Views: 3053 Rating: 9 Posted: 13 years ago

Topics that relate to peoples real life experiences. Others like "what do you think" or more "opinion related questions" are not as interesting to me either. I like questions and answers that let people share their real life situations and experiences to help others who are dealing with situations that the answerer has dealt with or experience with before in their life.
