"MRSA" stands for "methicillin resistant staphylococcus aureus". This means it's a type of staph that's become resistant to the typical antibiotics that are used. A staph infection like this can arise out of just a tiny scratch in the skin, and it tends to look like an insect bite. When our micro lab sees "spider bite" for the diagnosis of a person who's culture we're looking at, we immediately suspect it's MRSA. It's become very common, and it can be hospital-acquired or community-acquired. Most hospitals now screen patients for MRSA by doing a nasal swab to see if they are carriers of MRSA, and if they are, then they're put in isolation to keep it from spreading to other patients. MRSA is treated with vancomycin or trimethoprim sulfate. It's not hard to get rid of, but it can be life-threatening if it infects someone who's immuno-compromised.

Probably for the same reason my husband and I have 9 cats; we love cats, and they love kids. I say all the more power to a couple who's got that many kids and is doing such a good job of raising them.

Are you talking about diabetes Type 2? If so, this is adult-onset diabetes, and is far from a death sentence. Depending on how severe it is, you may need to start out on insulin shots or pills. But properly managed, you'll be able to avoid complications like heart disease, neuropathy (nerve pain), glaucoma, and non-healing wounds. I know this is going to sound crazy, but Type 2 diabetes can actually be REVERSED with proper diet and excercise. You'll probably have a hard time finding a doctor who will admit this, because doctors count on patients allowing their illnesses to exacerbate themselves. Otherwise, doctors would be out of business! All you need to do is follow a meal plan that's high in fiber and low in fat (choose nutritious foods that you LIKE so it can be a permanent lifestyle and not a temporary "diet"), and find an excercise that you enjoy enough to do at least 4 times a week (mine is weightlifting). These changes will allow your body to overcome the insulin-resistance it's acquired, and the insulin normally produced by your pancreas will stabilize your blood sugar. Soon you'll find yourself feeling great, and your body will be healing itself, with no medications or doctor-intervention required. Good luck!

The tylenol I am talking about has codeine and caffein

What are you taking it for? You need to get to the root of the problem. I had foot surgery 4 months ago (which involved having bone cut away), and was prescribed Vicadin, but I never even needed 1 pill. A lot of peoples' pain is in their mind, and doctors are way over-prescribing painkillers. Try aspirin; it's a painkiller and anti-inflammatory all in one, and doesn't have any side effects. Remember that any medication you take has to go through your liver, and it can be damaged by these toxic substances. I know of someone who destroyed her liver by taking Tylenol, and ended up dying of liver failure. You can gradually wean yourself off these prescribed Tylenols; just figure out how many per day you're taking, and try to take less each subsequent day until you're off of them. Good luck!

Sad commentary that Obama's way of "keeping the country from going all the way under" was to bail out the car makers and banks. All of those billions, plus the billions for mortgage modifications were grabbed up by the fat cats. But that's the Democrats for you. Tax and spend, that'll solve all our problems. And the housing crisis had nothing to do with "deregulation"; that was the Securities and Exchange Commission pruprosely looking the other way when Wall Street was pulling their shenaningans. That had been going on for YEARS before the housing crash. Do some research! And as for the war in Iraq, do you think it's any coincidence that Obama's waiting until just a year before the next election to pull out our troops? I think not. If a "pinched mind" means being able to see a scam artist from a mile away, well then EXCUUUUZZZE me, and my husband, my neighbors, and everybody else I associate with.

You need to go through the courts to get legal custody, but since you have the mother's compliance, this will be a much easier process than if she was working against you. Good luck to you!

do you have to remove tulip bulbs in the fall

No, but the problem with leaving them in the ground is that squirrels like to eat them. You can prevent this by covering the area the bulbs are in with wire mesh and a layer of mulch. Also, when your tulips are done blooming, don't cut off the stalks, because they're manufacturing food that will be stored in the bulbs and used for the next year's blooms.

False; hepatitis B and C are much more serious than hepatitis A. Hepatitis D can only occur when there's also a hepatitis B infection. Millions of people are infected with hepatitis A each year, but it doesn't cause chronic liver problems like hepatitis B,C, and D.

When is Casey getting out of jail

WANT JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE? Casey was not alone in her conspiracy; she had help from her parents, and the authorities are covering this up. First of all, George and Cindy Anthony treated Caylee like she was their own. Secondly, the father of Casey's baby has never been revealed. Couple this with the fact that defense attorney Jose Baez recently told a reporter that he had proof that Casey was sexually abused by her father. When I first heard this, I thought "What possible PROOF could he have of that?" Now it's becoming clear that the proof could have been Caylee's DNA, which might have proven that George Anthony is the father of Caylee.
If Caylee was indeed HIS daughter, then he could be prosecuted for perjury because he said on the witness stand he had never sexually abused Casey. If the authorities had done their jobs in the first place, the parents would have been caught in lies right from the beginning and the truth would have come out. Not only was George protecting his daughter from prosecution, he was also protecting his own precious reputation. And knowing Florida's prosecuters, they probably gave George and Cindy immunity in exchange for their testimony, so, like Casey, they walk fee. Florida: what a great state!

is there an over the counter treatment for Thrush?

Thrush is caused by an overgrowth of yeast in the mouth and throat. There are prescription tablets, liquids, and lozenges (which contain an anti-fungal called Nystatin), but you can get gentian violet over-the-counter. The main problem with this is that it's dark purple and messy; it can stain your clothes and skin. Dip a cotton swab into it and paint your tongue and the back of your throat with it. Although it's been used for decades to treat thrush, there are reports of a possible link to cancer of the mouth, so use it for the shortest period of time as possible.
Eating yogurt and taking acidophilus capsules may help some, as well as rinsing out your mouth and throat several times a day with a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution.
To prevent further outbreaks, keep in mind the causes of thrush: taking antibiotics. high blood sugar due to diabetes, consumption of foods containing high amounts of yeast and/or sugar, poorly-fitting dentures, and smoking. Also, mouthwashes can reduce your amount of normal bacteria, letting any yeast that's present to overgrow.

can 16 year old take monocycline with Latuda

I think you mean "minocycline", which is an antibiotic. I'm not seeing any warnings for minocycline or Latuda not to be taken together.
However, I'm wondering if you're taking minocycline for acne. When I was your age I took antibiotics for acne, and they didn't work for me. From my own expereince (I'm 50 years old now), I think eliminating sugar from my diet was THE best thing for my acne, along with using 10% benzoyl peroxide topical cream at night. If you cut out empty calories of sugar and fat, and load up on whole grains and fruits and vegetables you'll be amazed at how your acne will start resolving itself. Also, I used to drink alcohol until recently, and I've noticed a huge improvement. Keeping your diet as clean as possible allows your immune system to work at its best. And remember, any pill or toxic substance you put in your body has to go through your liver, and you don't want to put unnecessary wear-and-tear on that.
