    What is luxury for you?

I am not talking about status symbols or other material accessories - I mean life situations, emotions, activities, etc. (I hope you know what I mean... which moments are most precious to you? :))

Luxury for me would have to be relax in my home with my wife and nothing to worry
about my health is good so that a bonus, have new car and no mortgage to pay, only tax.well can have everything,so were happy as we are,WE THANK GOD EVERY DAY FOR OUR BLESSING.TK.
I learned a long time ago true luxury is the love of your family, so in this regard I live in supreme luxury.

I have wonderful children who love me, grand children who think I am the bees knees , I would not change my luxury for all of Experts wealth.

All money does is let you choose your misery, it doesn`t buy happiness. I have enough to pay for what I need, travel a bit own my home owe nobody a cent , THAT is luxury when combined with my family.
    melandrupert

Yes Tommy we grandads are a special breed and I am proud to be one, grey hair, aches and pains is a small price to pay for entry to "The Grandads Club"

    leeroy

    Unfinished leather.
Having friends, being creative and feeling my dove cuddle up against my neck while he falls asleep on my shoulder.
    melandrupert

oh how lovely is that I had a budgie when I was a child love it to bits its name was Fred never forgotton him what is you dove called !
    Papitou

My dove is called Anakh. I picked him up in a park because he was injured and would have died there. I'm so glad I did that - for both of us.

I've had budgies for many years, too. One of them, Bubi, got very tame. I suppose that was my Fred-experience.
    Ann

I had a Dove too when I was 1o yrs. oid. She was tame. We put her on the windowsill, she flew away and always returned. I loved her so much. Her name was Nannie.
    Papitou

Doves are wonderful companions. Anakh comes to my bed every morning and waits for me to get up. Sometimes he just sticks to me like glue :D. I love him.
You give beautiful and touching answers, thank you! :)

For me, waking up each day in Hawaii is already a luxury.  To breathe the cleanest air I have breathed, to drink the best drinking water out of a faucet I have drunk, and to have dinner with my wife and kids daily help make my life an absolute luxury.

OK, so this question (at this moment, though it won't be as soon as I click "post an answer) is right under the question, "Do Muslims use toilet paper?" Because of this, I'd have to say, toilet paper is one of my luxuries. :)

<edited> to add, I did not read the fine print to the question. I guess TP is a material thing. Oh well, it's still a luxury that others do not have.

    Tommyh

Nope, don't agree Col.Toilet paper is not a luxury to me.Just one of the banal necessities of life.:)

You would call it a luxury if you had to use your hand, leaves or an old newspaper to wipe your butt :)
    Papitou

As some of you may be eating while they are reading this, I'll not say what the ancient romans used instead of TP in their public toilets...
