Has anyone ever inherited property, and what did you do with it?

I just got a call from an attorney telling me a relative left me his house. I haven't seen Uncle Al in years. I am totally freaked.

I am an only child, so there are no other family members. There was enough money to pay off some bills, and my parents house which I still own and rent out. I am in the process of selling it so that I can fix up my house, sell it also and move to Arizona.

I also inherited part of my grandmothers china collection (my father's mother - which was divided amongst all the children and then in turn grandchildren) from my father's sister when she died because I was the only female niece. I also inherited her engagement diamond which I had made into a wedding band along with my mother's diamond and my other grandmother's diamond.

Made a few calls, nobody knows he died. He was a grumpy old bastard but I like the guy. We'd always hang out together at family functions, or should I say HIDE together. Uncle Al also liked his Budweiser. Have to check out what he left. Probably the "Munsters house".
