Yesterday my brother - in -law plowed up a yellow jackets nest and they did a number ON him, both eyes are swollen.
Hello Pam, we tried to get him to go to the emergency room, but he's stubborn, a retired staff sargent special forces, can't tell him anything, he hates going to doctors.

Maybe try some benedryl, that will help if there's an allergic reaction. I'm not a doctor, but my dad was. Lol.

A homeopathic remedy called Cantharis 30c is good for bee or wasp stings. Cantharis 30c available in most health food stores and pharmacies.

Thank you Pam,my friend, I'll tell that hard head about the Cantharis, maybe my wife can get him to use it, she was the one that told me to ask this question. The wedding and the reception went really well. I got some REALLY good tip money bartending.

Thanks dwayne, I had heard that before about the tobacco, matter of fact from my wife's dad before he died. Thank you for the info.
I just learned a whole lot from above, thanks for asking Space my friend... hope your bro-in-law is better. I would put a frozen bag of veg's, like peas, over the eyes for comfort and swelling, and if it doesn't improve soon, go to doc!

It seems like you've got all the home remedies you need, for now anyway, so I guess I will just say a prayer for his speedy recovery.
