does Advil (ibuprophen) help you more than Aleve (naproxen ) ?

I tried to tell my best friend that---with me, anyway, Advil works better than Aleve. They have different ingredients, even tho they both are anti-inflammatory drugs

I really depends on the person and the type of pain.
Different strokes for different folks, I personally can't use either but, what may work for some may not work for others so, this should be decided upon by each individual.
For headache, Advil works best for me and majority people I know.
I think Aleve works faster and the pain relief lasts longer. Ultimately I think it has more to do with the type of pain you're in; toothache as opposed to menstrual cramps. I find Advil works better when I'm experiencing menstrual discomfort.

Too much of either will prove ineffective.

well, since i have Ibuprofen, I am going to go to my stash and take one out. and then I have to take to my bed with a pain in the neck .... I do not like that.
I think Aleve has more side effects when taken for a long period of time.
