...In heaven, where else ? Jesus said that if you confide to God that you are a sinner, and that you accept that Jesus took the punishment for you, He is just and swift adn true to forgive you....so you can go to heaven when you die.

Your ans is almost correct, except for the last sentence were you say "go to heaven when you die" you only go to heaven after the resurrection, otherwise there be no purpose for judgment day.
The good or maybe bad thing about eternity is when you have spent a million years there you are still no closer to the end...

    …or further from the beginning.

To Leeroy---Are you saying that tongue in cheek ? The very defintion of eternity, is that there is no end. And why would you want it to end, if you were having fun, had all the love you could handle, had no problems, no pain, no grief, or mourning. You'd be with your loved ones.

I was trying to to reflect the permanent condition of the soul, notice I said good or bad. This is referring to your final destination, Heaven/hell...

So it would be a bad thing if you were in hell, or a good thing if you were in heaven.
Hopefully in Heaven, with beautiful Angels and loved ones.
in heaven with the creator and all gods elect
I am in Gods Hands where he wants me i will go though I do hope I see my Dad and my beloved Animals
    With the Big Guy.
I think I’ll be here on or near this world for several million years…which is not a very long time in my view of time. When you consider the fact that the planet has been growing as a result of stellar dust fall-out for about 4.5 billion years, hanging out here for a few million years looks like a cake walk to me. I’ll go back to Heaven occasionally I’m sure. But I’m really interested in this world because it is evolving, our culture is evolving and time is progressing. It is places like this that tell us about the evolution of Heaven experientially. So, you go to Heaven when you are done here. But for me the adventure is continuing along a path of progress that leads this world into a Paradise like state. Every day this world advances toward that goal.
I don't deserve the gift of heaven... But I am so loved by my father I know he will welcome me home.
I will be in Heaven. The best thing will be the absence of sorrow and pain.
    Heaven with My LORD!
Most people here seem to believe they are going to heaven?
Is this because the only other choices the churches offer is something like Dante's inferno?

What are they going to do when they get to heaven?
Would it not be pretty boring sitting on a cloud playing a harp for all eternity?

Is there anybody here that thinks this is a tiny bit vague or naive? How long do you think eternity is?

I have a problem with these answers. Do you think this is the reason why there are so many athiests in this world?

I was working out some biblical chronology the other day and what I worked out was if a person live to the proverbial three score and ten years then he/she has lived only circa one percent of the day on which God rested on the day of his rest from his works of creation.

    Kind regards

I totality agree with your ans,Bestway, could it be that"heaven" so call is a misunderstood word,I took it to mean a place where there is no more war, pain, suffering, tear or sorrow.I don't think we be sitting on a cloud all day long, playing a harp,or trumpet.my thought was more like higher evolve,in our galaxy.so tell me what you think on this,if you want to. Thank You.
I'm going to live in heaven, I'm an angel with the big wings.

To be honest, I do not know what will happen to my soul when I die. I just wish one thing. When it's time, my soul is in peace and remain peaceful forever.
    leeroy

Well, I for one hope/pray that God will reveal Himself to you. It's a very comforting feeling knowing where you will spend eternity.
    On my computer.
I'm going to heaven, there no two ways about it.my Father did not come to this world, just to be crucified in another persons place Jesus was the son of the Almighty God who created the heaven earth.
Now that my believe!you don't want to believe,That your prerogative.Us Christian fill obligate to pass or at lease to send the message of "Jesus" who died a cruel death on a cross, not in vain ,SO the whole world may know, why He did this for all of us.Jesus wish no one to perish.
In Hell, because all the singers, celebreties and entertainers will be there to amuse me.

    i wouldn't count on it
