    can you build a wood deck over an existing slab patio?

    We have a slab patio out our back door. The slab is cracked and we would like to replace it with a wooden deck. There is a 4 inch step down to the slab. Should we remove the slab or can we place a deck over top of it?

      yes you can. Make sure you hire a carpenter that know what he is doing. That really helps.
