Someone who stands by your side and looks out for your best interests, being there as your support when your down. letting you know when your in the wrong, and in the right. Sadly if you are in the wrong and continue to hurt yourself and others, i would consider it loyalty for a friend to say goodbye if a person proves they are not willing to change. Some people take advantage of your loyalty so you need to recognize it and move on. others fall and the only way they can get back up is with your help. You have to be able to decipher the difference.
