I think it's an art form. I've seen some really beautifully and artistically done graffiti. I think every town should have an area just for graffiti. Free artwork and most of it very interesting to look at.

Anytime a person defaces another's property as graffiti or just plain 'tagging' it is against the law. Punisment should be community service.. I don't think they should be jailed and more than likely, those that do it have no cash on hand so fining them is useless..

Is it an artform?? yeah! some of it is really catchy and shows great talent, these people are missing their bus.. Nonetheless, no matter how great it is, its against the law. Our building at work gets tagged at least once per month, fortunately, our county has tax monies set aside for this and all we do is give them a call and they come right over and paint over it.. and amazingly, they match the color of the building perfectly..
