when we build up our Karma points, do we get a prize or something from aol ?

like if we build it up to a certain number, are we put in a drawing for a prize ? ....or do we get anything? What's the good of building up points, if you're not going to get anything for it?

ah...the glory of playing the part of being a guru a couple hours a day. they are glory pionts, my friend. lol
I highly doubt AOL will give us anything. This site is not run by AOL.

They are working on some ideas to give the points more reason than just recognition that the other members value your answers. It will be a while down the road though.

Well, its been 2 years now...how far "down the road" do we have to go?!...(Did we all take a wrong turn somewhere?)lol

I think they gave up on the whole idea. The programming takes too much time and they all have full time jobs outside of this forum. It's not worth the money to hire professional programmers for a free forum.
