    It is a very complex process and probably much easier just to buy it.
    Pressure, temperature and water, act together to get this by-product. The extraction process involves temperature which is more than 400? C and strong pressure is maintained for almost half-an-hour. The whole process is working on the concept of counter-flow during the phase of oil production. Glycerol is absorbed by the water in this phase and later on it is isolated and distilled to get the final product glycerin, that is 99% pure and standard.
