The next big introduction in June was a link trio of new "Samurai" models. As I explained in my review, it's a model series I often forget. However, I am link aware of how popular the Samurai is with hardcore Seiko fans. The new Samurai presented a smaller case, shrinking from link 43.8mm to 41.7mm.

The only slight sense of disappointment I ever felt about character watches link is a lot of the link time they felt slightly disposable. Of course you had things like the 17 jewel Bradleys but not without reason were character watches often called "novelty" watches with movements that would tend to lose their life more or less in tandem with the novelty link wearing off.
