You need a "braze alloy".
Braze alloy is generally available as rod, ribbon, powder, paste, cream, wire and preforms.
The biggest problem with joining cast bronze to steel is the difference in their shrinkage rates.
They will both need to be preheated and then slow cooled to reduce the chance of cracking in the joint.
The filler rod will vary as to the casting alloy.
Silicon Bronze (everdur) is usually a safe choice.
