      you could try Fly rod and pike flies or spinning rod and rubber worms

        Good answer Mel, I was going to say,"just fish from the shore or a pier?" lol, I love to fish, mostly for large mouth Bass here in FL.

          So true, very humid as well. Makes me want to move back to CA. Good luck with the fishing, I went yesterday and got skunked, which is very rare for me. Must have been the barometric pressure?
