The living are conscious that they will die, but the dead are conscious of nothing at all. Ecc 9
In most cases the body goes into a state of shock very quickly.
If you are aware that you are dying it is a good time to pray.
yeah true, there are some horrible ways that someone can die through, by the way are you from germany?

before you were born were you afraid,to be born? the greatest fear is fear itself, which is linked to our senses,I was once run over, and had a car land on top of me I thought I had been killed, since then my outlook on life has changed I now view the world differently, don't be fooled by life illusions they are only here to control you.

Fear is a God given sense. Fear is what keeps us from danger. Fear is good for us. When you were a young boy Cucumber I am sure you feared your father's or mother's discipline if you disobeyed. This most certainly kept you from doing some vey dangerous things. Do you have any children Cucumber? Do they fear any consequences? Do you teach them to not fear any consequences? God is our Father in heaven, He has told us what to fear for our own well being. You expect God not to warn us to fear, but you would warn your own children to fear life and death situations.
well friendofgod playing the amateur psychiatrist now, what is this indecent obsession with fear that seems to haunt you, the mere fact it has been used at least 9 times in your reply would indicate a form of brainwashing, might I suggest that you allow yourself a little time to calm down before replying further
Hbr 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Actually Doublehelix, God does not make His judgment by a scale of major sins verses minor sins nor good deeds verses bad deeds. One sin no matter how small it may seem to us condemns us to hell. Therefore all of mankind is condemned to hell at their judgment UNLESS one has received God's pardon by Grace through Faith in His Son's attonement for sin at the cross and has made Jesus Christ their Saviour and Lord.

Well, at least you are swinging it, can't really say you made any hits yet. Just what part are you in need of further explanation?
I had a cucumber the other day in my salad, it was kinda bitter to.......lol love, Randy
friend of god how can you verify all this, are you not sowing the seeds of fear, and using your god as a weapon, cleanse your mind, "liberation for all"with fear of consequence carpe diem
friend of god how can you verify all this, are you not sowing the seeds of fear, and using your god as a weapon, cleanse your mind, "liberation for all"without fear of consequence carpe diem
your god campaign solicits votes by installing fears of condemnation to hell, don't sidestep the issue with flimsy rhetoric, explain yourself more clearly and coherently
well randy no bitter cucumbers here, I grow my own ,very sweet you must be shopping at the wrong stores, lots of people don't take time to choose carefully
friendofgod this is not rocket science, read my comments with a little initiative, instead of relying on bible quotes that gush out fire and brimstone comments
glad you appreciate great minds doublehelix I have no problems with anyone who hold any belief's whatsoever ,let us remember that rational thinking must come into the equation too, the purpose of argument &debate is to ascertain who is the wearer of the right hat, once discovered the job becomes easier, some people are wearing hats that are out of fashion,it is not for me to tell them, but only to ask if they would consider a new hat my world is open to the wearing of many hats
death is just a new beginning as a child of god the only thing to fear is god himself not death
hehe, no i only agreed that everyone is going to be judged wether they have small or big sins, unless god forgives them, but i'm not a christian, i have my own belief so i was only agreeing with upon what i similarly believe in. hehe i'm not an echo, i think stuff for myself too you know :) but great minds tend to think alike ;)
thats true, but if you mean that the bible might not be true, at least consider the koran, the koran is a book that has NEVER EVER been changed, not even a single word ever since it was sent to muhhammad the prophet, there is alot of proof if you search on the net about it, and also inside the koran god also mentions after telling you everything you need to know, he asks you 'if you can (as in us humans) write a similar chapter to one of the koran, and since it was sent to earth no one has ever been able to write such a thing, it's very interesting,
i'm actually researching alot on it and the more i find the more i want to know , i'm not saying do the same , just saying that if you research deeply into stuff you actually can find real proofs .
everything dies eventually! its a big part of the cycle of life which nobody likes to talk about!
(i think it should be talked about in schools, without religious overtones)
I have had my wife and my mother take their last breath while i am holding them, and it is something that you can never erase from your mind.
when i die, it will hopefully be painless and quick! then its up to our offspring to carry our genes into the future. :-)

Death is not a part of Life, for it is Everlasting. Death simply resides in the living of it. Living is the activity of Life in the Existence through which it is passing; the man Phase if I may say so. Time comes to wake up from its the dream of man. For anything that ends is a but a dream. ;)
i completely disagree with you!
you have absolutely no proof of anything you say!
you are just in denial of the inevitable (death) and you would like to believe that life never ends, well it does. from the tiniest bacterium to entire universes, everything comes to it natural end.
just live your life and enjoy :-)
I have had 7 major operations during my life.
Each time I was anesthetized I was out cold until someone called my name.
This is what death is like. You go to sleep until you are called.
But many faithful men have worked vigorously for Gods blessing and a better resurrection.
It will be such a joyful time to come back to a cleansed earth.

No, on each occasion I was out cold.
The last thing I saw was the Anesthetist confirming that I was in good hands, even though we both knew there is no such thing as risk free surgery.
Jesus compared death to sleep also. You would do well to read the account of his journey to his home with his disciples. Lazarus had been dead four days and there were no refrigerators. His grieving sisters warned he would be smelly. 'I am the resurrection and the life, Do you believe this.' After prayer he called Lazarus and the man that was dead came forth in his burial garments.
Awe inspiring stuff.
interesting that you compare death to a sleep. While anesthetized did you dream? Did you see yourself outside your body? Or what was the last thing you remember before you saw your world go round and out?
...when you die then what?....very simple/ You will hear your name called and you will awake. You will either find yourself looking up at an extremely glorious cloud with millions of angels flying down and a human figure in the middle with a rainbow brighter than the sun at noonday or you will find yourself being told that "we are a battle away from taking back our city. you will be pointed towards a bright city as if it was made of glass and gold. You will awake with the same angry, hateful feelings you last remember. You will be sorrounded by millions of people that are angry and of creatures bigger than you, disfigured as of those hollywood movies or worst. Then you will hear a thundering voice and you will acknowledge along with those millions that surround you, for the final time, that it was true what you problably heard from your godfearing mother, grandmother, brother, or friend that this person, being called Christ was true afterall, but too late to be given a pardon. You will kneel and declare that "His judgements are true and just" Then a shower of fire will descend upon a ruined world, exterminating once and for all any TRACE of sin with the exception of those "nailed pearced hands". The time of knowing the man with the nailed pearced hands is now and you are not too late! Know Him so you may know the sign of His coming!.

Does sound crazy but we dont know his heart. he maybe saved and has good reason for saying it like that
I'm not afraid of dying. 1 - I'm basically living a good life, I have not gotten everything I want, but, most of what I wanted. 2 - I tried to live everyday as though it is my last day. Finally - We all have a day and time, when it comes I want to do like Jesus, God take my spirit!!!
Out of votes, try again tomorrow!!!

I am more afraid for some of my friends and some family members. I personally have no doubt that the second I die I will meet my Maker. I pray for them and leave it in Gods capable hands. I mostly witness with my life and actions, I don't like making people feel uncomfortable when speaking of God, unless they ask me.
The only other way I witness is if I believe the Holy Spirit wants me to speak to someone. I don't randomly go out speaking to strangers, I am just way to shy and I don't believe that's my calling.
But I do know with God all things are possible. So I haven't been afraid of death for many years now.

I did experience once, and it was wonderful for it was not death but Life. Therefore I obviously have no fear but look forward to the True Life to come. Therefore fear not for each and every one will find his proper order in that time. ;)
IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE WE WILL ALL BE HEAVEN BOUND.I'M JUST WAITING AND LISTING FOR THAT TRUMPET TO SOUND.GOD BLESS EVERYONE

Sadly not so papa peg. That scripture is widely misunderstood.
I will try presently to prove that one for you but I have not the time right now. Kind regards
No . . . death is a fallacy, the greatest of lies. For where there is Life there is not death. Life is Everlasting, for it is Spirit, Spirit is the Presence of God. The activity of Life is simply in the "living," or passing through its man-phase of dreaming in the existence, wherein death resides. For any thing that ends is simply a dream. So be of good cheer there is no death. The fear is in the personality which fears oblivion. Find your true self and you will not have to suffer it, for you will be in God even in the living of it.

Not at all. I know that upon death, my spirit will be with almighty God. Why, because the hand of God led me to salvation when I was a sixteen year old runaway. All of my family have enjoyed the same free gift - salvation and eternity with God through the salvation of Jesus, the Son of God.
Give Him a chance. All He asks is that you believe and seek His grace. No payment needed. Jesus has already paid the price through His death and resurreration. He lives and we can live with Him.
On the other hand, if you avoid God, then fear should be a component of your life because upon death your spirit WILL be sent to the insidious domain of hell, where you will be subjected to the father of lies, Satan and his evil - for eternity.

nothing is the begaining of somthing.you had no will to be born.so soomthing gave you life why?are you born just to die for nothing,i don"t think so.somthing brought you here for somthing to do somthing for him.you didn"t bring nothing, and you can take nothing. which is somthing with you to nothing.do we relly have control of our live if we came from nothing.you can drink water, but you can"t take it with you.bread, air,but can"t take it with you...ete.don"t put your trust in things. put your somthing in God that last forever.

I THINK THE MEANING OF LIFE IS THE BEGAINNIG OF LIFE TO BE BORN TO DIE.NOW YOU HAVE THE CHORES TO LIVE FOR EVERY OR DIE FOR EVERY.BUT IF YOU WERE NOT BORN YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE CHANCE TO Chouse LIFE OR DEATH.FOR SOOM RESON GOD WHANT USE TO EXPERIENCE LIFE ON EARTH BEFORE WE CAN BECOME A FULL SPIRIT MAN.IN ORDER TO LIVE IN WITH HIM.I BELIEVE IN THE BIBLE SAID YOU CAN'T LOOK AT GOD AND LIVE.SO YOU HAVE TO DIE FIRST

Ahh . . The angle of your . . Hummm . .. Interesting presentation (I think you mean choices). Though the body and personality is what dies, not Life. Life is everlasting it cannot die for it is Spirit the Presence of God, within. How do you think God knows all things. The bible is an excellent guide to the God within, if you can solve its riddles or parables for yourself. Donell you don't strike me as a troll, but your LOUD CAPS are how trolls seek to disrupt serious souls.
I really hope that there is an afterlife, but I have not come across concrete proof that it does or doesn't exist. If the after life does exist, then I believe it exists within the world we live in but in another dimension. This may evolve or change into bliss or heaven. I also believe that our souls can only be moulded during our life time. Some thing that is most probably very easy to do, but we cant see it. When we die I believe that we regain this universal knowledge and wish we had paid a little more attention to our purpose in life. Mankind seems to be tempted too much by greed and other deadly sins insofar as to say that most of society is so far gone into this realm of evil that they do not see anything wrong with it. They even justify their action to help with the illusion.
When death does come along the journey either begins with immense pain (hell) or elation (heaven). Obviously there are many different shades of grey and dependent on how much progress has been made during their lifetime on their souls would determine their shade.
This again is only my opinion.

what happens if you can see your funneral and nobody comes? what you you are sent to a place and you don't like anyone there? what shall i do with my body when i die? these are my wonders and fears.

Does this mean bestway that no one should take notice of you or any of your brethern? You are after all a "son of earthling man" You got me I wont take any notice.
Jesus said 'Do not be anxious about a single thing.'
When you die its all out of your hands. The living are conscious that they will die, the dead are conscious of nothing at all. (Ecc 9v5)
Psalms 146.
3 Do not put YOUR trust in nobles, Nor in the son of earthling man, to whom no salvation belongs. 4 His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; In that day his thoughts do perish.
hehe, i don't really think 'what happens to my body when i'm dead' should be the major problem in your life right now, when your dead, your body doesn't really matter where it ends up, it's where your soul ends up is what should be worrying you, lol, except if you dont believe in god. :)
If you really think about it we do not die. We like plants, animals and all things are nothing more than energy. You can break anything down to the photons (energy particles) that make it up. Energy does not die, deplete, or break down it ony changes form. So if we are made of energy it makes complete sense that we will merely change form. Into what, we will find out soon! I only hope I end up on the positive terminal!!!!

Actually death alone is not my greatest fear but;pain, drowning, bleeding, utter helplessness,or even shock to name a few ways of passing on are pretty much at the top of my list.
