Do you think school buses need more supervision?

There was a time when kids would mind the driver.... for no other reason than, the driver being adult.

Now, we're perfectly capable of governing ourselves.  We're just a bunch of regular kids here!

I walked to school and home, up hill in both directions. Any distraction by a student on a bus should be considered a misdemeanor and parents charged accordingly. Let the old man spend an evening in court, pay a fine because junior was an idiot. My father would have "water boarded me" given that scenario.

Yay!!! I think making parents paty for unrully kids would change alot of things... They may not care about the kids behavior.. But they do care about heir wallet.

Spoken like a true parent. My father had to take a day from work to visit the principal, worst beatin I ever got, for a minute I thought he forgot murder was a crime.
I think the US is already too much of a nanny state.

If the kids misbehave they should be suspended from the bus forcing parents to deal with it.

    that would be nice...
Public schools are money pits, and one of the high costs is the transportation. Let the kids walk to school, or get rides from parents or grandparents.
