In Australia we have plenty. We need to have our houses treated about every six months. We live next to the bush, so that makes it worse.

Spiders. Was bitten two years ago by a very small one in my side and it is still numb to this day. We have the biggest spiders I've ever seen, they can get as big as a crab. I was told that they will actually attack smaller animals.

Water bugs. When I was a kid sitting in my darkened bedroom one of them crawled up my leg. Yuck. Actually, I don't really like bugs of any kind.

My chubby cat sat on one once, then picked it up in her mouth, bought it to my mother and dropped it there. Needless to say my mom was not thrilled.
