I dream in color, sound, smell, and strong feeling (emotions)...

it is like I fall asleep then start another life, thus not actually sleeping. What does this mean?

You're sleepwalking, get back in your bed before you hurt yourself..
    ARE YOU SEEING ANGELS?

Haven't seen but felt them at certain times.... I am also psychic and am used to reading the past off people (that willingly choose to let themselves be read), but recently the tides have turned and I am starting to open the prediction side.

Interesting, Forever, what do you predict?

PS: No worries on ridicule. I am not in the business of ridicule on the basis of dreams as there are no limitations within. It is that there are those who are given instruction and for purpose there are precognitive dreams honed. Where are you in this? have you learned to hone the dreams?

    Lucid dreaming :)
It could be lucidity or it could be a form of hypnogogia. Cannot tell from what you put forth. Yet, had it been some other form of dreaming, it would be the timing of the sleep patterns which would allow such ability to see colors, sense of smell etc..
